The path was that Jaehan would not know of his existence until he was 18 for the sake of protecting him from the eye of fame. However, it was mostly from the issues derived from Jaehwa’s family. NOTES: an annoying kid jaehan met when he first moved to bongsan-ri and would not leave him alone. they spent 6 years together and at first, jaehan did not like her, but grew to enjoy her presence overtime. they were the only english-speaking in the village. jaehan taught her how to play the guitar and minji would always sing. jaehan was aware of her dream to be a singer one day so before he left the village, he told her he would only meet her again if she pursued her dreams. eventually, she did but they would always miss each other.

RELATIONSHIP: DEAR NEIGHBOUR, DAD DOGS, DEAR FRIEND.

NOTES: jaehan and san knew of each other’s existence, but failed to cross paths until one fateful day when the two dog dads decided to walk their dads at the same time! ever since, the two take turn dogsitting when needed, other than their dogs, san and jaehan have a wholesome dynamics where they bond over music. jaehan asks san for advice and insight while san experiments with jaehan’s sounds!

NAME: MIN JISUN / JESSA

RELATIONSHIP: MENTOR FOR JAEHAN’S SHOW ON THE ICE SKATING EPISODES (2021), CLOSE FRIENDS.

NOTES: jisun was jaehan’s ice-skating instructor for the “just do it w/ jaehan” series! jaehan and jessa got along instantly, but he was very surprised by how different she would act when the cameras were on. however, he grew to knew that it was the image to be sold. despite this, they bonded and grew closer through many of his hilarious falls and their playful bickering. “i told you to do x!” “no you didn’t hehe” which the audience loved. on the last day of filming, both of them came in earlier and spent time getting to know each other on a deeper level, discussing about their personal lives. after the show, they would attend each others events and grew to be close friends over time.

NAME: YUASA RYOTA + NAKAGAWA KEIJI

RELATIONSHIP: CLOSE FRIENDS VIA ACCIDENTAL CULT MEETING

NOTES:

• RYOTA - jaehan met ryota at a local bar long ago. they were both sitting at the bar with jazz music playing and jaehan realizes very quickly ryota does not know much korean at the time. it didn’t help that jaehan did not know japanese either but despite this, they have a wonderful conversation through cues and hand motions. however, a random korean man also realized ryota did not know korean and decided to harass him, expecting jaehan to enable this so he could rob ryota. instead, jaehan pulls him by the collar and gives ryota a look. the two take turns beating the shit out of the man while romantic jazz music is playing. they exchange phone numbers at the end of the night, but jaehan can’t get a hold of him so they lose contact. however, they meet again when ryota and minji attend one of his concerts.
  
• KEIJI - jaehan and ryota see a flier going around about an infamous fortune teller (popular channel on youtube) coming to the city and decide to check it out. however, the two realize there is something off about this event when they look around and see everyone stuck in a “trance.” in looking around, the guy next to them is keiji, the sole one who is not stuck in the trance. ryota and keiji find out they’re both japanese and hit it off. the 3 spend the next few hours trying to escape the cult. with many failed attempts, they leave but are then instantly interviewed. their interview had trended due to the 3 looking lifeless and barely giving coherent (but funny) responses.

NAME: SHIN MIYONG

RELATIONSHIP: DISTANT FRIENDS WHO LOVE ANIMALS.

NOTES: jaehan and miyong would meet at a party. miyong would quickly pick up on his austrlian accent and bombard him with questions regarding australian animals. now, he would not know the answer to these questions, but he answered it to his best ability. eventually, miyong would invite jaehan over for a tour of her beloved snakes! the two wouild then see each other at other parties as well, but never really outside of it.
