growing up, hyungseo had always been close to her older brother and their ​relationship never strayed in the light to be tumultuous. their parents chose to ​make a living in ulsan with frequent visits to seoul, which quickly became the ​destination of where her own heart settled in later in life. while her parents ​(happily) lacked in abuse or mistreatment, they’ve always shared a distant ​dynamic due to their lifestyles.


her father was and is still to this day, a formidable artist. her mother was a ​notable model up until she passed away one peaceful night in their earlier ​twenties. his muse was his wife and his art still bleeds of her, in which he ​navigates grief in a way that his children struggle to handle. they seldom talk.


hyungseo and her brother hoseok, 4 years apart, were able to obtain their ​bachelors. hyungseo graduated honours in supply chain management, but ​knew very well she wanted to live a little more. the thought of a 9-5 bore her, ​like most people, but the thought of instability failed to settle well in her gut. ​both her and her brother worked well together in a sense that both were ​adventurous yet calculated. additionally, both wanted to flip a new page in a ​new city, leading them to take flight to seoul to make a grand mark in the night ​scene. hoseok eventually opened up a standing bar where hyungseo was ​granted the opportunity to help lead it full force.


their bar welcomes everyone, especially peers of curious eyes in the local alley. ​the alley remains on a street full of other bustling restaurants and shops ​opened till late at night. those who heed end up spending the rest of their night ​there with plenty to drink and various laughter, waking up the next day to ​reminesce what a beautiful day it was.
